Deacon Foodservice Solutions, LLC is locally owned and operated in Charlotte, NC. Deacon FS was established in 1972 as Denver Restaurant Equipment and merged with C.E Holt Refrigeration in July of 2015, operating as FSW NC.

In March 2016, Deacon FS acquired the operations of FSW NC, returning the company to wholly independent local North Carolina ownership, under the leadership of Jeff Atkinson, a 12-year veteran of C.E. Holt Refrigeration, Inc., and Certified Public Accountant.
